FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – Community schools in Fort Wayne are looking to fill dozens of nutrition service positions at their job fair Friday.
At the FWCS Nutrition Processing Center, the school system will host the event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dozens of nutrition service positions are currently available in schools around Fort Wayne and at the Nutrition Treatment Center.
The Nutrition Services team plays a vital role in Fort Wayne’s community schools, ensuring that all students have access to a nutritious breakfast and lunch each day.
Their importance was further underscored in the past 18 months as the pandemic created various challenges for students and families, and nutrition services staff stepped up to meet the nutritional needs of students.

This event is open to the public and no prior registration is required. Participants can ask questions, receive assistance with the application process, be interviewed on site and visit the Nutritional Treatment Center.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be willing and able to pass a criminal background check and drug testing.
